THE EVER YOUNG CLUB

The Ever Young Club met for their April
meeting in the Municipal Bldg. The President,
J. E. Higgins,opened the meeting with
"0 Canada" and the Lord's Prayer. Treasurer,
Dorothy Cox, gave the report and Beryl Hogg
the Secretary's report. Two delegates,
Esther Wright and Jeanne Lindsay, e{,tended
the Homemakers Convention at Pine Lodge
Chalet near Hensall.
Twelve members from our Club attended Zone 8
meeting in Zurich. We have 1,01 clubs in
Ontaric and they represent all our Seniors and
help to bring into legislation many things that
we Seniors new enjoy. It's a big task and all
Seniors should be thankfuthat these committees
are working very hard. Mr. Lerette, Past Pres,.
of the 11.S.C.0. at Toronto gave a very rousing
speech as much as he was going to celebrate
his ririetieth birthday soon. Our club member-
ship has been raised to 50ct.
A good bus trip is planned to the "Geritcl
Follies" June 26 at Hamilton. Come along and
have a food day. Gcderich Golden Gate Club
has invited us June 16th for an evenirg. We
go to Huronview July 7th for the 12:45 meal.
Our Secretary tendered her resignation as she
lives too far away to attend. Euchre was
enjoyed. Ladies High...Eileen Cleave;
