St. Andrew's United Church News - Bayfield
On Sunday evening, December 20, 1981, the
Choir of St. Andrew's United Church pre-
sented their annual Candlelight Christmas
Cantata to a full church. Organist and
choir leader, Molly Cox, was accompanied
on the piano by Edward Stiles of Goderich.
The church had been beautifully decorated
for the Christmas services by Doreen
McKenzie, Lorraine Fisher and Marg and Joe
Mayman. Also adding to the occasion was
the newly decorated entrance of the church -
complete with newly painted walls, beauti-
fully framed picture of Jesus Christ and
chandelier. The U.C.A. had undertaken
this project with some very special people
doing the buying and maintenance on this
endeavour.
ZURICH COMING EVENTS
Zurich and Area Figure Skating Club is
holding a FABULOUS 50's DANCE on Saturday,

There will be prizes for the best costume

PER COUPLE. Everyone is welcome:
THE ZURICH L1ONS CLUB AND THE VIAL OF LIFE
On Saturday, January 16, the Zurich Lions
will canvass the residents of the Village
of Zurich in order to implement their Vial
of Life Program. Each householder will be
given a form to be filled out with essential
medical information and a plastic vial. Once
the form is carefully filled out, it is placed
into the vial. The vial is then placed in
the refrigerator and attached to its upper
right hand corner. Rural residents will
have the form and vial mailed to them.
No canvassers will call on the rural resi-
dents but if they have any questions a Lions
Club member is only a phone call away. So
don't forget this Saturday, January 16, is
the Zurich Lions' Vial of Life Day.
