TOURISM - Featuring SUGAR BUSH and the
------- DURST . FAMILY
SUGAR BUSH INN is situated about two miles
south of Bayfield on Highway 21.
Albert, Phyllis and Debi Durst purchased
the 37 acre property known as Sugar Bush
on June 11 of this year and it has kept
them on the go ever since.
Albert Durst was formerly in the construction
business in Goderich before purchasing the
Bayfield property. Previous to the construc-
tion business Albert and Phyllis used to run
a guest farm, Cherrydale Farm, which is now
associated with Benmiller Inn.
Facilities and services at Sugar Bush are
many.
There are camp grounds for trailers and tents.
There is a trailer sales and service business.
The Sugar Bush has a 10 unit motel.
There is a restaurant which serves tasty home
cooked meals.
The Sugar Shack with its fireplace, games
tables, and sauna enable the Dursts to provide
catering and banquet accommodation for up to
100 people.
Sugar Bush has cross-country ski and snowmobile
trail facilities.
This winter Sugar Bush will specialize in
Winter Ski and Snowmobile packages that will
include lodging, food, snowmobile rentals, and
the use of the Sugar Shack.
Sugar Bush is just one reason why visitors to
Bayfield will find vacationing here a happy
and rewarding experience.
