CUSTOM SLAUGHTERING WED'S

HURON COUNTY
RETIRED TEACHERS
On Monday, Sept. 21,
three busloads of
Huron County retired
teachers and friends
(9 persons from Bay-
field) descended on
the Brantford area
for a 2 hour tour of
the Grand River by
riverboat. It was
raining, but neverthe-
less, enjoyable.
University students
served a hot roast
beef dinner while
cruising. One of the
students was also
the 'captain' and gave
an excellent commen-
tary on the history of
the river and area -
one side of the river
being the Indian Res-
ervation (Six Nations).
We also passed the home
of Pauline Johnson.
Then on to a Mystery
Tour which proved to
be the Old Mill at
Ancaster. Interesting
even in the rain. We
were all presented with
a 2 lb. bag of their
own stone -ground wheat
flour. Returned home
tired, damp but happy.

Isn't this an awful picture
of me? I look just like a
monkey!
You should've thought of that
before you had it taken.
