The evening was a fantastic success and the Optimist Club would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who played a part in holding this event. Special thanks goes to the Seaforth Firefighters for running the bar, auctioneer Greg Wheeler and Scott Saunders and his team from Rollin' Roasters. With over 600 meals served, and overwhelming support for the live/silent auctions, the penny sale, the games and other draws, a substantial amount of funds were raised for Scott and his family and our Childhood Cancer Campaign. "Bringing out the Best in Kids" and supporting our local youth is what the Seaforth Optimist Club is all about - we could not do what we do without the continued support of our local community. We are so very proud to call Seaforth home! Thank you, thank you, thank you! OPTIMIST 74,E Yours in Optimism, The Entire Seaforth Optimist Club A brave troop of merry -makers braved the snow and cold afternoon weather to celebrate the Seaforth Community Hospital Auxiliary's Tree of Lights on Nov. 24.
