Creating art out of history
Downtown Brussels saw a big change Nov. 20 as a mural depicting the historic Queen's Hotel
made its debut. The initiative was sponsored by the Municipality of Huron East, the Brussels Lion's
Club, the Huron Heritage Cultural Fund, the Huron East/Brussels Community Development Trust &
Paul Nichol.
"I think this is just perfect," said Jan Hawley, economic development officer with the Municipality
of Huron East "It's celebrating our past and the wonderful buildings that were in our downtown and
still are. It's a beautiful piece of art."
Downtown Seaforth will see its own mural in the near future which will depict Main Street, over
100 years ago.

Delta Power
acquires
a second
location in Essex
Delta Power Equipment, a farm
equipment dealer with Case IH loca-
tions in Exeter, Forest and Seaforth has
announced the acquisition of Jacobs
Farm Equipment in Essex, ON.
"We're very excited about the oppor-
tunities that will result from this acqui-
sition," said Josie Sisler, CEO of Delta
Power Equipment, in a press release.
"We already have a number of custom-
ers in the region because of our New
Holland location and we see this as an
opportunity to provide even more
options to farmers by carrying on the
strong legacy of Case IH in the area"
This will be the company's second
location operating in Essex.
"We're looking to build upon our suc-
cess we have had with our other Case
IH locations," explained Sisler.
Delta Power's new location will
occupy the same facility as Jacobs Farm
Equipment while continuing to operate
the original New Holland facility as a
separate location.
