ECKERT
Wow! What awesome kids and grandchil-
dren I have as they gave me a "surprise"
and I mean a "surprise" 65th birthday party
which was held at Steve & Tracey's house
with the help of Darrel & Kendra, Tanya &
Mike and grandkids. I was surrounded by
many friends and relatives and it was great
to socialize with everyone, some who I
have not seen in ages. There was a lot of
reminiscing going on. How can I ever thank
everyone for their thoughtfulness, blessings
and treats, which the sourpuss was a big
hit. But especially for my dad being there
and I know my mom would have had a few
treasured words for me, ha,ha! We sure
miss her very much. So thanks again to my
great kids, family and friends, and especial-
ly to my hubby, you all sure made it a
superb 65th birthday party. Luv you all.

MOYLAN
I was overwhelmed by how many of you at-
tended my Retirement Open House
recently. Thank you so much for coming out
on such a rainy day. I hope you enjoyed
yourselves. And for your generous food and
monetary donations to the Seaforth Food
Bank I am truly grateful. The cards and
well wishes (which continue to come)
have been so gratifying. Your kindness and
generosity brings to mind a quote by
W.C.Gannett "If there is any kindness or
good things I can do for my fellow being, let
me do it now. For I shall pass this way but
once." It has been a privilege for me to
have been involved with the health care of
so many of you over the past several years
and I thank you for the trust and confidence
you have granted me. Thanks to Grace
Campbell for helping the girls. They had so
much confidence in Deb's party organiza-
tional skills but you were the icing on the
cake. And last but not least to my family for
hosting the event. You really pulled it off
beautifully. You are awesome! - Rita

SMITH
Over the last 5 years Lynda (Hill) Smith has
had her ups and downs with cancer. One
thing which was consistent - it truly over-
whelmed Lynda and me - was the love,
kindness, thoughtfulness and support our
community gave us. None of us truly knows
what happens after death - however if it is
possible to smile, Lynda will be smiling at
you all thinking how many times you made
her smile in life. Thank you, George Smith

NICHOLSON: In loving memory of my dear
husband Ross, who passed away two years
ago on Nov. 16th, 2011.
I often sit and think about the years that
have passed by,
And of the happiness and joy that was
shared by you and I,
I think of all the laughter, the smiles and all
the fun,
And before I even know it my tears have
begun,
For although it brings me comfort to walk
down memory lane,
It reminds me how, without you life has nev-
er been the same.
