To Our Dad, Bill Dowson
It's not Good Luck, its Good Voting!!!
He will run this election as he has run his
whole life, he runs with his knowledge, his
history, his empathy and concern, his gene-
rosity, his honor and his pride in his
community which has proven 14 years as
mayor and 29 years in politics and 75 years
of living.
Every single time that he picks up the
phone,
Every time that he gets in his truck,
Every time he goes out his lane, every time
is a new time to meet, greet, host and enjoy
every single function he can possibly fit in a
day!
He, the mayor, this position he holds, we
call it his hobby because it is not really work
for him if the truth were to be told.
He "collects" people, friends and acquain-
tances, he thrives for their history and their
ideas as well as their concerns that he em-
braces.
He is the man with a promise never broken,
he is the man with his door always wide
open!
He has sat hours under streetlights to prove
a resident's complaint of an issue, he has
drove early a.m. to a flooding resident's
basement. He changes tires for strangers
on the side of the road, and gives hitchhik-
ers rides right to their home. He takes in
visitors to Bluewater that have no place to
stay, gives them a home for the night and a
meal to remember!
You know if you ask, a visit you will get,
whether to bring up an issue or to just remi-
nisce.
Nothing is too big and will never be too
small, he's a pleaser with a passion in
hopes of peace for us all!
This election he runs as a man with a mis-
sion, not to prove his past strengths but to
show his continued ambition. To protect
and to serve this guy is relentless. His hon-
esty, compassion and his hopes for the
future with Bluewater and Council to lead
on and again to bless another 4 years, with
continued success.
All the best to you dad, you deserve nothing
less than to continue to keep doing what
you do the best. - Love Your Family
To Good Voting, Cheers!
