Hullett Central Public School
become informed voters
Dave Flaherty for the News Record
Students in Ms. Elder's Grade 4/5 class at Hullett Central Public
School may have been more informed about last week's provincial
election than many people who can legally vote. Elder said the
class discussed all the parties and their platforms leading up to
June 12. She said she was pleasantly surprised by the amount
of interest the students showed in. The students were allowed
to participate in a mock vote, with Elder stating most of them
supported the Liberals or NDP. Students Ella Sawchuk and Kiara
Driscoll said they enjoyed talking about the election with their
fellow students and with their families as well.
