Worship Leader Colin Snyder wel-
comed everyone to the Brucefield Com-
munity United Church. Flowers were
placed in the sanctuary in memory of Bill
Consitt. Our Thoughts and prayers are
with Marjorie Consitt and her family at
this time. Carol Simons read the Gospel
reading as well as the Minute for
Missions.
Following the benediction Colin gave
the blessing and the congregation enjoyed
a simple fare luncheon of stew, buns and
desserts. Free will offerings will go to
M&S.
Baird's Cemetery annual meeting will
be Wednesday Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. in the
Brucefield Community United Church.
The Lay Supervision Team Meeting will
be Monday Feb. 3 in the Sunday
School Room at 7 p.m.
The Brucefield Community United
Church U.C.W. will meet Tuesday Feb. 4
at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday Feb. 2 will be muffin Sunday.
Please stay after church for some treats
and fellowship in support of the Sunday
School.

Annual reports are due at the church

Crokinole players met in Brucefield last
Tuesday evening for doubles play. Dave
Whyte playing solo placed 1st with 37pts.
Jack McLachlan and Joan Beierling were
second with 34pts, close 3rd were Doug
Mills and Sam Bradica with 33pts, 4th
place with 28pts were Cheryl Trewartha
and Murray Perdue and in 5th were Alec
Ostrom and Jean Perdue with 21pts.
