In loving memory of a very special mother
and grandmother, Norene Hayter, who
passed away two years ago on Dec. 28,
2012. She lives on in the recipes we enjoy,
the music that she loved, and the memories

BLUEWATER - Huron County Ontario
Provincial Police (OPP) officers are
investigating the theft of a 2012
Kubota utility vehicle stolen from a
farm equipment dealership located
on Rodgerville Road. The machine
was stolen from the outdoor sales
yard sometime between Novem-
ber 12 and November 14, 2014.
The stolen utility vehicle is described
as a 2012, RTV 500-A Real -
tree Hardwoods camo model val-
ued at approximately $13,000.
Any person with information regard-
ing this incident should immedi-

SOUTH HURON - Huron County Ontario
Provincial Police (OPP) officers are
currently investigating a theft of rims
and tires that were stolen recently.
Those responsible attended Huron
Motor Products located on London
Road and proceeded to steal a com-
plete set of rims and tires from a
GMC Sierra pickup. The rims are
described as 20" all -terrain edition
aluminum spoked rims. The truck was
left behind on four cement blocks.
The approximate value of the rims
and tires is $4,000. This theft took
place sometime between 4:00
p.m. on December 6th and 7:00
a.m. on December 8, 2014.

SOUTH HURON —A 59 year old male
driver is facing charges of Impaired
Driving and Fail to Provide Breath
Sample after police encountered the
driver attempting to free his stuck
pickup from a steep ditch. Just before
5:00 p.m. on December 4, 2014 a
Huron County Ontario Provincial Police
(OPP) officer spotted a group of peo-
ple attempting to pull out a GMC Sierra
pickup truck that went off the roadway
into the south ditch at the intersection
of Black Bush Line and Crediton Road.
Upon speaking with the driver police
observed signs the driver had been
drinking alcohol to the point his ability
to drive had been impaired by alcohol.
He was arrested for impaired driving
and upon searching the vehicle offic-
ers located an open bottle of alcohol.
The driver was subsequently trans-
ported to the Exeter OPP Detach-
ment for breath tests. The driver
was given several opportuni-
ties to provide suitable samples of
his breath to the IntoxilizerTechni-
cian however he failed to do so.
As a result, a 59 year old male from
Ailsa Craig has been charged with
Impaired Driving and Fail to Pro-
vide Breath Sample. He has a
court appearance scheduled for the
Ontario Court of Justice — Exeter on
January 29, 2015. He received an
automatic 90 day driver's licence
suspension. His motor vehicle
was safely towed from the ditch
and impounded for seven days.
ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH
— A 33 year old driver from Water-
loo was recently caught speeding
and in possession of marihuana. On
November 30, 2014 a Huron County
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer
was patrolling on Amberley Road
near Whitechurch when encoun-
tered an Acura travelling eastbound
at a high rate of speed. The officer
confirmed his observations with a
RADAR device and measured the
vehicle's speed at a high of 113
km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
Upon speaking with the driver the
officer noted the smell of mari-
huana coming from inside the vehi-
cle. The driver was questioned
about the odour and he handed
over a quantity of marihuana to
the officer. The drugs were seized
and the driver was charged.
As a result of the traffic stop, a 33
year old male from Waterloo has
been charged with Speeding and
Possession of a Controlled Sub-
stance — Marihuana. He will have
to attend court at the Ontario Court
of Justice — Goderich on January
12, 2015 to answer to the charges.
