Letters from Home
The Letters from Home
event at the Huron County
Museum on the evening of
Dec. 11 was an intimate
gathering of individuals who
were interested in hearing
the stories of those who
served in the First World
War, specifically William
"Billie" James Anticknap and
Harold Shipley Turner of
Perth and Huron Counties,
respectively.
The event was in support
of the Women's Institute
Project and is just the begin-
ning of a new initiative of the
Blyth 14/19 that looks at the
vitality, imagination and for-
titude of the women who
kept the home fires burning.
