Last Wednesday afternoon at the Varna Complex hundreds of
people attended a special ceremony to celebrate and honour Bill
Dowson. Dowson was the mayor of the Municipality of Bluewater
since its inception 13
years ago and has
offered dedicated
service in the field
of local and Huron
County politics for
30 years. Dowson
eventually lost his
mayoral seat to Tyler
Hessel in the October
27 election.
