IPM Saturday features 4-H Invitational, Princess event Action -packed After a week of ups and downs weather- wise and the conclusion of the Ontario Queen of the Furrow and plowing competitions, the last day of the International Plowing Match (IPM) featured plenty of fun on a hot, humid day. Clockwise, from top -left: The Ram Rodeo Tour entertained people with fast and technical riding skills; Brooklyn Hendriks of Lucknow, representing the Huron County Plowmen's Association, earned the first-ever Ontario Princess crown; chain saw artists were on display at the McGavin Farm Equipment tent; from left: Brussels Agricultural Society Secretary Brian Schlosser, Don McNeil, Tented City host farmer Jack Ryan and Brussels Agricultural Society President Matt Cardiff took a ride through Tented City on McNeil's famous jalopy; the Huron County Tri -Hard women gave it their all in the amateur tug-of-war competition; Ryan presents some of his farm's soil during the closing ceremonies to 2018 IPM Chair Darrin Canniff to be transferred to next year's site in Pain Court, Chatham -Kent and a First Nations dancer took to the main stage in the centre of the grounds to show off his craft.
