NH signs Festival
marketing agreement
The Blyth Festival marketing
partnership with North Huron
Township will continue for another
year after council approved the
request Monday night.
The marketing partnership, which
sees North Huron pay $15,000 to be
featured in marketing materials for
the Festival, was lauded by council
as one of its best investments.
"This is one bright light in our
marketing plans," Councillor Bill
Knott said before immediately
making a motion to approve the
plan.
Knott pointed out that the price for
North Huron had gone down from
$20,000 in the past and said he felt
North Huron was well represented
with the document.
The partnership was proposed
during the Blyth Festival's annual
presentation in December.
Council approved the marketing
agreement.
