Rvilla's Christmas Bazaar brought in a crowd and caused a buzz of activity at the retirement community on Nov. 29, 2013. A total of 16 vendors took part, with residents and guests being treated to treats and cider in the lounge as well. Simply Charmed's Sandy Treverton and her daughter Bre showcased the jewelry for sale. Lynn Stevenson's Jamberry nail wraps were also on display. Martha Haywood was happy to show off her wares. Jennifer Comello of Brampton has a Scentsy display. Moving forward together, to benefit ACW K2 Wind is moving toward the start of construction. We've taken steps to develop K2 Wind in a way that will deliver new benefits to the community. Over the next 20 years, K2 Wind will provide approximately $15 million to the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh (ACW), through the Community Benefits Funds Agreement. Once the Project is operating, annual payments of approximately $700,000 will be provided to ACW to fund a wide range of community based initiatives such as: • education and job training programs • community and protective services • public recreation facilities • land steward initiatives • energy sustainability projects K2 WIND ONTARIO The Community Benefits Fund Agreement is just one of the ways K2 Wind is sharing benefits with the community.
