!POLICE LOOKING FOR STOLEN
INVERTER
On August 23, 2014 at 9:56 pm,
the South Bruce Ontario Pro-
vincial Police (OPP) received
a report of a theft from a vehi-
cle while it was parked at the
Teeswater Community Centre.
Sometime between 5:00 pm
on August 23, 2014 and 9:45
pm on August 23, 2014 a Red
Honda Dual 3000 power inverter
was stolen from a pick-up truck
bed. The value of the stolen
property is estimated to be more
than $2,800.
DRIVER WILL TRY WALKING
FOR 7 DAYS
On August 21, 2014 at 7:29 pm,
a South Bruce Ontario Provin-
cial Police (OPP) officer on patrol
along Highway 21 in Huron -Kin-
loss Township noticed a Red
Mercedes C63 moving at a high
rate of speed. Vehicle speed was
displayed on radar at 146 km/h
in a posted 80 km/h zone. A 27
year old male of Toronto was
charged with race a motor vehi-
cle. He is scheduled to appear
in court on October 7, 2014 to
answer to the charge.
POLICE RECOVER STOLEN
PROPERTY AT TRAFFIC STOP
On August 22, 2014 at 3:27
pm, the South Bruce Ontario
Provincial Police (OPP) received
a report of a break in at a
residence on side road 10
in Huron Township. Officers
were responding when they
observed a red truck that had
been reported by the home
owner. The Red Ford Ranger
was stopped and officers noted
a large quantity of tools, sport-
ing goods and electronics
inside. The occupants of the
truck were arrested.
A 46 year old female of Huron -
Kinloss Township has been
charged with 2 counts of break
and enter, 2 counts of pos-
sess stolen property, 4 counts
of drive while under suspen-
sion, operate unsafe vehicle,
operate with no insurance and
unauthorized plates. A 48 year
old male of Southgate Town-
ship has been charged with 2
counts of possess stolen prop-
erty and 2 counts of break and
enter. A 21 year old male of
Palmerston has been charged
with 2 counts of possess stolen
property and 2 counts of break
and enter.
They have all been held in cus-
tody pending the results of
a bail hearing scheduled for
August 25, 2014.
CORRECTION -DRIVER WILL

The original report had the driver
age incorrect. On August 6,
2014 at 6:45 am, a South Bruce
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP)
officer on patrol along Highway
9 in Kinloss Township noticed
a Red Toyota Echo moving at a
high rate of speed. The vehicle
speed was displayed on radar at
157 km/h in a posted 80 km/h
zone. The driver, a 17 year old
male of West Grey Township, was
charged with Race a motor vehi-
cle. He is scheduled to appear in
court on September 2, 2014 to
answer to the charge. The rac-
ing charge carries an immediate
7 day driver's licence suspension
and 7 day vehicle impoundment.
TWO FACING CHARGES AFTER
BREAK & ENTER
Huron County Ontario Pro-
vincial Police (OPP) officers
have arrested and charged a
male and female with criminal
offences after their break and
enter attempt was foiled by a
homeowner.
Just before 11:30 p.m. on
August 28, 2014, Huron County
OPP officers responded to
a single dwelling residence
located on Saltford Road after
the homeowner called police
reporting suspects had thrown
an object through a window and
were attempting to break into
his home.
The homeowner was able to
prevent the pair from enter-
ing the home until such time
as police arrived on scene and
were able to locate and arrest
the male suspect at the resi-
dence. The female suspect was
arrested a short distance away.
The male suspect and the victim
sustained minor injuries from
the altercation. The female sus-
pect was uninjured.
As a result of the police inves-
tigation, Huron County OPP has
charged a 24 year old male
from Middlesex Centre. He is
charged with Break, Enter a
Dwelling House with Intent to
Commit Indictable Offence,
Assault with a Weapon and Mis-
chief Under $5,000. He remains
in custody with a court appear-
ance scheduled for September
2, 2014 at the Ontario Court of
Justice — Goderich.
Also charged is a 43 year old
female from Goderich. She is
charged with Break, Enter a
Dwelling House with Intent to
Commit Indictable Offence and
Assault with a Weapon. She has
been released from custody with
a court appearance scheduled for
October 20, 2014 at the Ontario
Court of Justice — Goderich.
