SENOR MEN
The senior men played Stableford system on Aug 14th
with Paul Sinclair winning 1st with 47 points, Glen
Mathews was 2nd with 45 points and John McLeod was
3rd with 43 points. Dave Evans & Bert Ferris tied for 4th
& 5th place. Art Helm was closest to the pin on #2 and
John Fludder was closest to the pin on #13.
MIXED SENIOR
Winning 1st place on Aug 18th was Dave Cooper and
Doug Turner with a net 68, 3rd place went to Pauline
Pegg with net 69. Dave Evans, George Armstrong and
Bryan Astles tied for 4th place. Closest to the pin for the
ladies was Brenda Jones and Doug turner was the closest
to the pin for the men.
LADIES GOLF
The ladies held their final Ladies Fling for this season
sponsored by BDO in Kincardine and Montgomery Ford.
The ladies played 3-3-3 format with Barb McBride and
Pauline Pegg winning 1st with a 44. Carol Quinn and
Lorraine Arnold won the most honest prize. The share
the wealth was won by Melissa Perdla and Sheri Lynn
Leslie. Pauline Pegg and Chris Wells won golf shirts
by draw donated by BDO. We want to thank all of our
sponsors for all the prizes they donated.
SENIOR MEN
The winners from Aug 21st senior men's were 1st place
Noel MacIntosh with net 59, 2nd John MacLeod with a
net 63, 3rd place Wayne Farrell with a net 64, 4th place
David Plourde with a net 66 and 5th place David Cooper
with a net 67. Wayne Farrell was closest to the pin on # 6
and Charlie Clelland was the closest to the pin on #13.
MIXED SENIOR
The mixed senior played a scramble on Aug 25th with
the team of Walter Arnold, Joyce Turner, Art Helm and
Bruce Heimpel winning 1st with a 7 under 65. The
team of Bryan Astles, Wayne Farrell, Marj Heimpel and
Pauline Pegg tied with the team of Les Kelly, Brenda
Jones and Lorraine Arnold with a 6 under 66. Elenor
Roppel was closest to the pin for the ladies on #13 and
Les Kelly was the closest to the pin on # 17 for the men.

Bruce Power Charity Golf Tournament
Raises $125,400 for Local Hospitals
Bruce Power's annual Charity
Golf Tournament raised over
$125,400 for local hospital
foundations.
The Kincardine Hospital Foun-
dation and the Saugeen Memorial
Hospital Foundation will share
the proceeds at the annual golf
tournament, which was held at
Saugeen Golf Club, on August 15,
2014. The tournament has now
raised more than $1.1 million for
the local hospital foundations
over 13 years.
The money is earmarked for
mammography equipment for
the imaging department and
upgrades to the surgical depart-
ment in Kincardine,
while Saugeen will purchase a
coagulation analyzer, which pro-
vides diagnostic prevention from
potential heart attack -inducing
blood clots.
"Bruce Power thanks every-
one who plays in our Charity
Golf Tournament, because they
are making an enormous contri-
bution to the quality of life for
all Bruce County residents," said
Duncan Hawthorne, Bruce
Power President and CEO. "To
have eclipsed the $1 million
mark is a testament to the suc-
cess of the tournament and also
the giving nature of our employ-
ees and suppliers who take part
each year."

Clean Air, Energy Conservation and Electric Vehi-
cle Calculators and Ontario residents become eli-
gible after correctly answering three questions
using the calculators, which are available on our

"Our contest was a huge hit last year in Bruce,
Grey and Huron counties, so we decided to open it
up to all Ontarians this year," said James Scongacic,
Bruce Power's Vice President, Corporate Affairs.
"It also gives us a great opportunity to introduce
people to our three calculators, which use real
data to show how clean, reliable and cost-effective

forms of electricity being used in the province'
