Lucknow Little Mudder Raises over $6,700.00 Clearing Spool Hurdles

It took a lot of hours of
brainstorming, scheming,
last minute problem solving,
and a little bit of luck but the
Lucknow Little Mudder took
place again and was nearly
double the size of last year.
The soccer fields were a busy
spot on the morning of Sat-
urday, September 20, 2014
with over 220 participants
working their way through a
3 KM obstacle course. Partic-
ipants came from near and
as far as France to brave the
wet weather to be a part of
the Little Mudder. We had a
fantastic day and raised over
$6700 to continue to support
the Lucknow Agricultural
Society and the Fall Fair.
Thank you to our many
volunteers who did a fantas-
tic job keeping our runners
motivated and safe. You cov-
ered your ground perfectly
and did an amazing job.
Thank you to Marilyn Scott
of Mayfair Training, Barb
Willits of Sepoy Swimmers,
and the Lucknow Fire Dept
(Steve Bushell, Steve Mce-
wan, Ryan Greig, Shawn
Re -Elect
Mitch TwoIan
for Mayor
Scott, Clint Hamilton) for
being prepared to respond to
any emergency. Also to the
guys at the pumper truck for
keeping the slip and slide
happening, although I think
you were enjoying
yourselves!
Thank you to our sponsors
- those who pay for our
shirts, provide finances,
materials for our obstacles,
UTVs/ATVs/tractors/bottled
water and more. We ask so
much of you and your sup-
port will never go
unnoticed.
Thank you to our private
landowners - McGugan's,
Andrew's, & Montgomery's,
and to the rec board, high-
ways dept., Bruce County,
Township of Huron -Kinloss.
It's taken us a long time to
figure out who owns what
and whom to contact.
Thanks for allowing us to
invade.
Thank you to those who
take photos, share them,
post them to our Facebook
page or #fittlemudder, to
those who spread the Little
Mudder love and continually
ramp this thing up. It makes
all those hours of planning

Thank you to our partici-
pants, the 220+ people who
paid their admission and
showed up in spite of the
rain, cheered each other on,
worked together to overcome
obstacles and truly showed
Lucknow what it means to be
a "Little Mudder':
To the Lucknow Little

happen, and to our families
who help out, thank you!
