Nine Waves Opens
New Store
) Now 3 Locations to Serve You
Valerie Gillies
Lucknow Sentinel
The third Nine Waves cloth-
ing store opened at 198 Main St.
W., Listowel on October 3, 2014.
The first store was opened in
Lucknow which was followed
by the Kincardine location.
Rachael Mariuz is Manager of
the new Listowel site.
Owner Helene Jakobsen has
been selling fashions since
2005, making her debut in
wooden clogs. From there she
has diversified into clothing in
hard -to -find and in between
sizes from XS to 4XL in many
lines. She sources out price -
conscious European styles to
accommodate from teens to
mature ladies while striving to
cater to all aspects of a small
community. A lot of the lines
featured are out of Denmark
and exclusive to Nine Waves.
Jakobsen became aware of
the opportunity of opening a
clothing store in Listowel
when another was closing.
This started her thinking
about the vulnerability of the
Lucknow location as, although
it is in a large traffic area, it
was greatly affected by the
recent road construction.
Many of her loyal customers
come from Kitchener and
Toronto, making Listowel a
closer destination. Jakobsen
notes that her repeat clientele
are very loyal to their favourite
brands.
Jacobson states that all
three locations work together
to give a continuation of ser-
vice. "When you walk into a
Nine Waves store you will
know exactly what to expect."
All carry exactly the same
lines including Pandora jew-
elry, men's and women's
clothing which runs from
dressy to casual, high tech
outerwear from Helly Hansen,
as well as other brands and
products
To enhance customer ser-
vice, no matter which Nine
Waves location you show at
your information will be
entered into the same com-
puter profile that has been
created for you. Reward points
will be additive across the
sites. Another convenience is
that if you purchase some-
thing in one location you may
return it to any of the three
locations and your profile will
be honoured.
You can experience the
quality and customer service
at 457 Campbell St., Lucknow;
737 Queen St., Kincardine and
198 Main St. W., Listowel and
visit the website at www.
