Wednesday evening Oct. lst, 4 tables
of players came to the old school house
at Scone for a friendly evening of
crokinole. When the shooting con-
cluded Janet Diebel came in first with a
score of 46, Jo -Ann Carter claimed sec-
ond at 39 and Clare Kuepfer had 37. In
the twenties department Clare Kuepfer
had 36, Al Carter 25 and Al McLeod
shot 24. Door prize winners were Neil
Cook and Evelyn Hodgkinson.
Congratulations to Cathy Kuepfer
who placed first in flight C and Clare
Kuepfer who was a semi-finalist in
Group B at the recent Belleville Tourney
on Sept. 20th. The players showed keen
interest in attending the next 2 National
Crokinole Tournaments in Brucefield
on Oct. 18th and Owen Sound is set for
Nov. 22nd. Phone Peter if you are inter-
