The family of the late Bernice Drennan

BLACK, Margaret (MacPherson) - Of
Lucknow, passed away at Wingham
Hospital on Saturday July 5, 2014 at the
age of 85. Greatly missed by her 4 children;
David (Joan) Black of Lucknow, Fred
(Juanita) Black of Burks Falls, Kevin
(Wanda) Black of Kingston and Elizabeth
(Phil) Petrie of Goderich and grandchildren
Nigel, Hamish, Michelle, Rachelle, Patrick,
Ryan, Courtney, Chelsea and Brady.
Special Grandma to Sarah, Ashley,
Alexandra, Victoria, Christine Brown,
Morgan Gwalchnai, Danielle Kaastan and
Mike and Tara Petrie and family. Fondly
remembered by siblings Bill MacPherson
and Isabelle Thompson and families, the
Black Family, her special friends the
"Golden Girls': "Coffee Ladies" and all of
her nursing colleagues. Predeceased by
her son Gordie and parents Gordon & Janet
MacPherson. Margaret graduated as a
Registered Nurse from St. Joseph's
Hospital, London in 1950 and enjoyed a
wonderful nursing career in Nova Scotia
and Ottawa until finally settling in at the
Wingham & District Hospital and Lucknow
Medical Clinic, retiring in the spring of 1994.
She loved reading, travelling, baking,
knitting and spoiling her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at MacKENZIE &
McCREATH FUNERAL HOME, Lucknow
on Thursday July 10, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9
PM. A Celebration of Margaret's Life will be
held from the chapel on Friday July 11,
2014 at 1 PM. Interment Greenhill
Cemetery. Donations to CNIB or the
Lucknow United Church are greatly
appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

MacLEAN, Mildred Catherine (nee
Farrell) - Passed away peacefully at Bay
Haven Senior Care Community,
Collingwood, on Sunday, July 6th, 2014, in
her 85th year. Millie, beloved wife of the
late Allan (2006). Loving mother of Duncan
of Kelowna, BC. and Lexie and her
husband Doug Trott of Collingwood. Dear
grandmother of Heather and Stephen Kells
and great-grandmother of Diego. Dear
sister of Olive Ackroyd of Guelph and the
late Marvin, Allan and Margaret Sinclair.
Fondly remembered by many nieces,
nephews and friends. A special thank you
to the loving caring staff of The Bay Haven
Senior Care Community. Visitation was
held at First Presbyterian Church,
Collingwood, on Friday, July 11th, 2014,
from 12-1 pm followed by a funeral service
at 1pm. Interment at First Presbyterian
Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to
CHATTERSON FUNERAL HOME.

WHEELER, George Kenneth - Passed
away Sunday July 06, 2014 in Halifax NS at
age 70. He was the son of the late
Winnifred (Lane) Wheeler and George
"Goldie" Wheeler. He is survived by his wife
Joan (Bradley) Wheeler, sons Roger and
James and stepson Martin, brother Bill
Wheeler, sister Ann Romyn, grandchildren,
Erik, Liam, Bennett and Jessica, and his
beloved Aunt Hilda Lane of Lucknow,
Ontario. A memorial service will be held in
Halifax, Nova Scotia and interment will be
in Belgrave, Ontario at a later date.
Donations may be made in his name to the
ALS Society.
