A lot of students and staff were recognized at the Last Day of School assembly at LCPS. The largest group to be
called up to the front was the track and field participants, at which time there were more students in the line-up
than there were left sitting in the audience. That is a strong level of participation! June 26, 2014.

Lucknow Central Public School cele-
brated their achievements over the
2013/2014 school year at a Last Day of
School assembly in the gym on June 26,
2014.
Many awards and recognition certifi-
cates were given out and acknowl-
edged. Some of the groups recognized
were: Eco Dream Team, Lunchroom
Helpers, Outside Sign Helpers,
Announcement Helpers, Slideshow
Crew, Chair Crew and the Kindergarten
and Bus Helpers/Patrols. Awards
included: Track and Field, Right Atti-
tude Awards for the month of June,
Lucky Lynx Awards and a recap of the
awards presented the evening before to
the Grade 8 graduating class.
As this is an ending, there were many
hugs and tears with the goodbyes to
students and staff who will not be
returning. However, it was stressed that
it is also a new beginning point as eve-
ryone moves forward in both education
and careers when the new school year
begins.
Congratulations to all on a very full
and rewarding school year. Hope you
all have a fantastic summer.
