Tom Helm (left) and Frank Daly (right) inspect the new Honda CRV that was recently purchased by Donald McMurray (centre).
When McMurray showed up at Mary's Restaurant in Lucknow on July 30, 2014, the press was called in from the neighbouring
table to record the news. Helm described the vehicle as a 4 cylinder, all wheel drive and 5 passenger. McMurray confirmed the
colour was registered as grey. Daly added that it was also clear coated. While the gentlemen had been seated at the Table of
Knowledge with their peers, a discussion had taken place over the mileage the CUR would get. No consensus was reached on
this point.

Lucknow Terry Fox Run
On Sunday September 14,
Lucknow will be hosting
their llth Terry Fox Run.
Over the years Lucknow
and area people of all ages
take part in the run; many
because they have either had
an encounter with cancer or
know someone who has.
They remind us of the power
of the human spirit and the
immense love we have for
family and friends that have
endured the hardships of
cancer treatment.
Terry Fox explained, "the
first 20 years of my life, I had
been very self -oriented. I
had no concern for anyone
but my own well- being. It
took cancer to realize that
being self-centred is not the
way to live. The answer is to
try to help others"
We have been touched by
the number of people who
have experienced cancer
themselves who take part in,
assist with, or simply come
to support the run. This year
we would like to recognize
any and all cancer patients
and survivors to join us as a
member of "Terry's Team',by
offering a complimentary
red shirt to wear at the run.
To receive your shirt and
run package, simply register
on line at terryfox.org, by
phone at 1-888-836-9786 or
by contacting Lucknow Run
organizers, Steve & Joan
Chamney 519-528-3108.
Like us on Facebook "Luc-
know's Terry Fox Run" and
circle September 14 on your
calendar.
