gins opened the meeting
with the pledge then led

bers how they stay fit.
Members answered with a
variety of answers such as
swimming, biking, playing
sports, and walking. Next,
Jolande Oudshoorn read
the minutes from the previ-
ous meeting.
The club then entered
the fitness centre and
Mary Ellen Foran intro-

Lucknow Fall
Fair Facts
Submitted
A fair just wouldn't be a
fair without all the animal
and poultry shows. We've
got draught horses, light
horses, dairy cows and
beef cows, and sheep.
Did you know the Luc -
know Ag Society has 36
different sheep
categories!
And how about that
poultry show! There are
65 different categories!
Don't miss seeing the
beauties that compete in
the heavy horse show and
check out the mules too.
And of course, watching a
Western or English
attired rider mounted on
a fine steed can bring a
smile to your face too!
Check out the fall fair
book for all this and
more. Books are available
at the Sentinel, Home
Hardware or the Co-op.
and more got a great work
out. After the strength
class, the club went to the
squash courts to play Wal-
lyball which is similar to
volleyball but played on
squash courts and the ball
can bounce off the walls
and still be in play. Mem-
bers had fun with both the
strength class and the
game of Wallyball. Kate
Higgins thanked Carol for
the great workout.
Following the workout,
Melissa Higgins handed out
the cover page while the
club discussed the possible
movies to watch for their
movie night. Kate closed
the meeting with the motto.
The next meeting will be
held on Thursday, July 31st
at the St. Jacob's Outlet Mall
for tips on fashion and
dressing to impress.
