Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Moore and family. Zion WA Meets At Barker Home Fourteen members and many visitors gathered at the home of Mrs. Lloyd Barker for the May meeting of Zion WA on Tuesday afternoon. The president, Mrs. James Statton, opened the meet- ing with a hymn, followed by the Lord's Prayer, Mrs. Wilfred An- nis read the Scripture, Acts 2:1.13 and comments by Mrs. Laurence Barker. A reading, "A Will of Her Own," was given by Mrs. Lorne Aikens; "Thoughts of April" by Mrs. Earl Barker, and "Winter is Never God's Last Word," by Mrs. Norman .Bushfield. It was decided to hold a church and community picnic again this year. A report was givenicon- cerning the clothing turned n for a bale to be sent to Indians at Deer Lake. Six sacks of clothing were packed and shipped, with rail and air freight amounting to $3L55. It was decided to send the retraining clothing to the United Church depot in Toronto.
