The church was decorated *ith
white flowers on the altar. Rev.
H. Donaldson officiated, while Mr.
George Clarke presided at the or-
gan, with Mrs. Cleave Coombs, of
Seaforth, as soloist, singing, "A
Perfect Love,"
The pride, wearing a full-length
white dress with a veil to match
and white shoes and gloves, was
given in marriage by her uncle,
Mr. James Sallows, of Egmond-
vile. She carried a beautiful bou-
quet of red roses.
Miss Sharon Adair, sister of the
groom, was maid of honor, wear-
ing a street -length lime green ny-
lon chiffon dress, white shoes and
gloves and a white feather hat, and,
carried a bouquet of white daisy
mums. Flower girl, Lynda Adair,
also a sister of the groom, wore
a green dress, and carried a bas-
ket of white daisy mums.
Miss Carol Anderson and Miss
Davina Hubert, 4f Seaferth, were
bridesmaids, and they were dress-
ed identical to the matron of hon-
or.
Mr. Glenn Adair, brother of the
groom, was best man.
Ray Mennell, brother of the
bride, was ring -bearer. Ushers for
the wedding were Jimmy Sallows,
the bride's cousin, and Barry
Rolpb.
The bride's mother received the
guests wearing a blue gress with
white accessories and a pink car-
nation. Mrs. Adair, the groom's
mother, wore a flowered crepe
dress with white accessories and a
white carnation.
A wedding dinner followed in the
Legion Hall, catered to by the
Ladies' Auxiliary of the Canadian
Legion.
The bride chose a white sheath
dress for her travelling costume.
Following a wedding trip the cou-
ple will reside in Molesworth.
Guests at the wedding were pres-
ent from Molesworth, Mitchell, At-
wood London; Bornholm- and Ful--
laton.--- -
O.E.S. ACTIVITIES
On Thursday night the Seaforth
chapter of the Order of the Eastern.
Star celebrated its 14th birthday
with a good attendance of mem-
bers and their friends. A pot -luck
supper was enjoyed by all, fol-
lowed by several games of euchre
bingo.
Prizes were given for the two
people sitting on the lucky chairs,
and these were won by Miss Jan-
ette Wilson and J. W. McDowell,
Later, a draw was made on three
articles, donated by two of the
members, and the lucky winners
were Mrs. Cliff Broadfoot, M. E.
Clarke and Mrs. Dolena McCuaig.
On Saturday. afternoon a success-
ful bake sale an novelty table
was held in the showroom of M.
E. Clarke's garage.
"Sure women can keep secrets
as well as men—but it takes more
of 'em to do it!"

people in too many cars in too
much of a hurry going in too many
directions to nowhere for nothing.
GWla MEETING
The monthly meeting of the
Catholic Women's Teague was
held in the schoolroom. Rev.
Father Sullivan opened the meet-
ing with prayer. "The minutes of
the last meeting were read and
officers gave their reports. Some
50 bags of clothing were sent to
St. Vincent de Paul Society in Lon-
don.
The regular annual convention
will be held in Stratford on May
17 and 18. Two delegates are to
attend. Mrs. James Devereaux
read an amusing article from the
League magazine. There will be
a tea and home baking sale in the
parish rectory in June, The con-
veners were named.
The parish picnic, sponsored by
the Holy Name men, will be held
the latter part of June. This year
is refugee year, and there is a
campaign in Huron County; every-
one is asked to help. The spiritual
director, Rev, C. E. Sullivan, spoke'
on Our Blessed Lady and how to
apply her example in the home.
In honor of the month of May
as the month of our mothers and
Our Blessed Lady, Margaret Ma-
loney, Lois Maloney and Antonette
Van Den Hengel sang, "On This

From Ireland?" Mrs. Frank Rey-
nolds thanked the girls on behalf
of the members present. .
Lunch was served by Miss Lil-
lian Faulkner, .Mrs. Ken Etue and
Mrs. Joseph McConnell. The meet-
ing adjourned and closed, with
prayer, led by the president, Mrs.
John Maloney.
