Named To Society
Formal initiation for a dozen
new members of Sigma Zeta, na-
tional .honorary science society,
took place on the Anderson College
(Indiana) campus last week.
Included in the new members
was Miss Joy Montgomery, daugh-
ter . of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence
Montgomery, R.R., 1, Clinton. Miss
Montgomery is a 1958 graduate of
Seaforth District High School.
Last semester, the former Sea -
forth student made the Dean's
Honor List. '

Holds Forum
.The regular meeting of the Han-
nah Home and School Association
was field in the' schoolroom. The
meeting was opened by Mrs. Keith
McLean. Mrs. Harry McLeod read
the minutes of the last meeting.
Mrs. Wm. Forrest gave the treas-
urer's report.
The meeting was turned over to
Tom Fox. Harry McLetod sang
"The Old Rugged Cross," and Miss
Sally Fox accompanied him on the
piano. The Home and School quar-
tette sang an Easter 'song, accom-
panied by Mrs. Keith McLean.
Baskets for playing basketball
will be erected on the school yard
following a `motion. A reading was
given by Wm. Forrest.
An open forum was held and the
subject was, "What advantages
have our children over the last
generation? Miss Sally Fox de-
fended the teenagers and gave her
views on the younger generation.

the Canadian Red Cross service
was established in 1947.
