Funge was speaker for the evening and spoke on "The Es- sence of Easter," saying as our diet, it is varied: education, have to take an inventory of our educa- tion; religion, Easter means spring, new hats, bunnies eggs; sunrise service, how we have to improve. Christ conquered death and has risen— empty tomb, fitting for Easter; Risen Christ, not so far away that His world and ours cannot touch, be believing and feed my lambs. The measure of Easter means to us: Courage and be able to say, Master; personality endures be- yond ;the grave, still the same Christ beyond death as on earsjh.
