Thanks to our family, friends and community for helping us through this very difficult time. Special thanks to the doctors & medical staff at Seaforth, Stratford & University hospitals and staff at Care Partners. We cannot begin to name all of you who cared for Frank but we felt the warmth and are grateful for everything you did for him. Thank you to the Bender, Rapien, Dunn and Parker grandparents for all their help taking care of the grandchildren on the days before Frank died & throughout the visitation. Thanks to our wonderful friends who prepared the meals between visitations each night. Your generosity is amazing. Thanks to everyone who travelled great distances to be with us. Thanks to all who braved the cold & stormy weather to attend the visitation & funeral and to those who tried to attend but couldn't because of the weather. You all worked very hard and it was appreciated. Born in Hensall, Ontario, on Wednesday, May 16, 1945, Reginald Earl Dick of Seaforth was in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of 48 years to Louise (nee Kenny) Dick. Loving father of Jeffery Dick of Egmondville and Kevin Dick (Ruthanne) of London. Cherished Grandpa of James, Mya and Gavin. Dear brother of Donna Reid (Wayne) of London, Bonnie Kellington (Larry) of Springfield, Gord Dick (Susan) of Egmondville, and siblings -in-law Pat Kenny (Brenda) of Vanastra and Rick Fell of BC. Reg will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his daughter-in-law Rose Dick, parents Earl and Velma (nee McNicol) Dick, brother Doug Dick, sister Shirley Kramers (Louis), and sister-in-law Margaret Anne Fell. Visitation was held at McGLYNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Friday, June 3, 2016, from 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. James Catholic Church, Seaforth, on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at 11 a.m. with Fr. Brian McColl officiating. Interment took place in St. James Catholic Cemetery and a reception followed at the Seaforth Legion, Branch 156. Memorial donations to the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation, Seaforth Food Bank or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and can be made through McGlynn Family Funeral Home.
