In an instant, they were in the public's eye after CTV London covered their story. Days later, their jubilation was shunned as a roughly 70 -foot collage of inappro- priate graffiti spray painted drawings were plastered across their wall. Not just once, but four times in the last 24 months this has occurred. In almost the exact same spot, this marks the third episode in the specified vicinity, said the owner of Everspring Farms Ltd. Dale Donaldson. "They are probably just minors or juveniles, but still they should be called out on it/' he expressed to the alleged vandals, who have spray painted racial deroga- tory terms along with mari- juana phrases and male body parts in blue and yel- low colours. "It seems to be repetitive, who's ever doing it has that same kind of style of writing." AlzheimerSociety II +,Ort COUNTY Cordially invites you to our Annual General Meeting & Volunteer Appreciation Wednesday, June 22nd at 6:30 Betty Cardno Memorial Centre Presentation on Highlights of Programs & Services Light Refreshments RSVP by June 15th, 2016 519-482-1482 or 1-800-561-5012 For residents commuting from Egmondville into Sea - forth, the vandalized section can be seen from Main Street. Donaldson said that particu- lar area of the building is highly visible during the day hours, but isn't as illuminating at night. That makes it an ideal place for mischievous individ- uals to come about. Along with Donaldson having the stresses of the fairly new com- pany being marked up with offensive paintings, he men- tioned that he feels bad for the residents that are located only metres away. "The neighbours right across the road, they have to get up in the morning and look at that," said Donaldson last week. The Londoner revealed he would like the public to work I consider this vandalism. The (OPP) call it mischief" —said the owner of Everspring Farms Ltd., Dale Donaldson together and if somebody knows something to come for- ward because this type of crime can have a snowball effect. "It's that whole broken window theory, you can't let it get ahead of itself. It can be contagious and repetitive with copy cats," he said. "It's a signal you don't want to have, certainly not a busi- ness (standpoint). "I'm sure everyone in town feels the same." The Ontario Provincial Police have been contacted and performed a thorough investigation. The authorities told Donaldson there are no leads yet. To lay charges, for the time being. "You have to catch them in the act," is what he said he was told by the police. "I consider this vandalism. The (OPP) call it mischief," he said. This situation has forced the man - responsible for producing sprouted grains and seeds to a wide variety of food manufacturers and mer- chants in North America and internationally - to become somewhat tentative in future remodeling projects. "What I'm a little con- cerned is we've already com- mitted to painting the whole building. I think I'm going to put that on hold until I install some lights and security. Maybe some motion sen- sors," said Donaldson. If you have any informa- tion regarding this crime, call Crime Stoppers at 1 -800 -222 -TIPS or submit a web tip online at www. hc-cs.ca.
