DAVID PETER DALE
Linda and family would like to thank all the
relatives, friends and neighbours for the
kind support following the sad loss of a
wonderful husband, dad, grandpa and
brother. Our family deeply appreciated all
the kind words, cards, flowers and
charitable donations. We were
overwhelmed by the abundance of meals
prepared for us. To the O.P.P. - Huron
Detachment, the honour guard and escort
were an honourable tribute to Dave for the
service he provided our community. A
special thank you for the care given by the
Doctors and nursing staff at Seaforth
Community Hospital and Stratford General
Hospital. Steve Hildebrand, thank you for
honouring Dave's life by voicing our
memories. Thanks to the McGlynn Funeral
Home for the professional and caring
arrangements. A heartfelt thank you to the
pallbearers and flower bearers. We are so
blessed to have the support of so many.

We, the family of Bob Duffy, would like to

shown to us during this difficult time. A

excellent care. Our gratitude goes out to

BRANDON, Charles Joseph - Born
September 27, 1921, in Bayfield; passed
away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Seaforth
Manor Retirement Home, in his 95th year.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife Emma
Marie (Plumsteel) Brandon. Father to
Gregory and Suzanne of Clinton, Janet and
Neville Leake of Bayfield and Glenn and
Anne of Kincardine. Grandfather to Lori
Brandon, Liz Allen, Tracey Leake, and
Trevor Leake, also leaves behind 8 great-
grandchildren. Predeceased by an infant
son Richard Charles and a sister Betty
Desek. Charlie and Marie celebrated their
73rd wedding anniversary on June 12th,
2016, with their family. Charlie farmed in
Hullett Twp. until his retirement. He loved
raising and training race horses, and
playing Euchre. At Charlie's request,
cremation has taken place. A family service
will be held at a later date. Arrangements

STELLA BAUER
Stella Bauer formerly of RR 1, Bornholm
passed away peacefully at Stratford
General Hospital on Sunday, July 3, 2016
in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late
Harold Bauer (2008) whom she married in
1946. Dear mother of Linda Goffar, Lois
(John) Growney, Brian (Suzanne) Bauer,
Bruce (Lynne) Bauer and Barry (Lisa)
Bauer. Loving grandmother of Jean-Paul,
Craig, Jennifer, Andrea, Benjamin, Brandi,
Lacey, Brooke, Samantha, Hayley and
Jordan. Cherished great grandmother of 17
great grandchildren. Dear sister of Blanche
Hopper. Also surviving are a number of
nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her
parents Howard and Evelyn Armstrong,
sisters Hattie Dale (Stewart) and Edna
Collison (Ron), brother-in-law Neil Hopper
and son-in-law Victor Goffar. Stella was
born in a log house in Kinburn (Constance),
Ont. in 1922. In her early years, she worked
at Seaforth Hospital. Following her
marriage to Harold in 1946, they farmed the
family farm and developed and operated
the Woodland Lake Camp until 1992. The
couple travelled extensively around the
world accompanied by their friends and
family. She enjoyed needle work. Stella
was known for her wonderful sense of
humour, kind and giving heart and
infectious laugh. She was a member of the
Mitchell Congregation of Jehovah's
Witnesses. Friends will be received at the
Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St.,
Mitchell on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 6-9
p.m. where the funeral service will be held
on Saturday, July 16 at 2:00 p.m. A
reception will follow at the Lockhart
Reception Centre. Interment in Woodland
Cemetery, Mitchell. Memorial donations to
the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society,
Seaforth Community Hospital or Stratford
General Hospital would be appreciated.

MCCLYMONT, Ivan James - May 2,
1929 - July 5, 2016. Ivan McClymont, of
Clinton, and formerly of Varna, died at the
Seaforth Manor, Seaforth, on Tuesday, July
5, 2016. Loved by his late wife Margaret
Jean Russell for 33 years. Great Historian
and editor of the History of Stanley
Township Book 1983. Farmed and
operated McClymont Century Orchards at
Varna and attended the weekly Bayfield
market. Many people toured their book
collections from as far away as England
and Australia. Ivan and Marg travelled
extensively, Europe, Ireland, British Isles,
and the USA. They knew every book store
across Canada. Ivan is survived by his
mother-in-law Agnes Russell of Seaforth.
Sisters and brothers-in-law Mary (Don)
Barker of Burlington, Margaret Robinson of
Cambridge, and Joan (Nick) Whyte of
Seaforth. Predeceased by his parents Fred
and Mabel McClymont, brother Bob
McClymont, and sisters in law Gail Orpen
McClymont and Faye Paterson McClymont.
Ivan was uncle to 15 nieces and nephews,
28 great-nieces and nephews, and two
great -great-nephews. Friends were
received at the FALCONER FUNERAL
HOMES 153 High St., Clinton, on Friday
July 8th. A Celebration of Life service was
held at the Clinton United Church, 105
Ontario St., Clinton, on Saturday, July 9,
2016. Cremation with interment of ashes
were at Bayfield Cemetery. As expressions
of sympathy memorial donations to Camp
Menesetung or the Charity of One's Choice
would be appreciated. Condolences for the
