school some are now prepared to be-
gin work, and in the boys' schooi some
have entered their theological course.
It was impossible -to listen to the
tender, sympathetic way in which she
spoke of the state of women in heathen
darkness, especially the- widows and
inmates of zenanas, without being
touched and drawn out to them with
feelings of pity. She urged upon„ her
hearers to make use of prayer to the
fullest extent for their suffering, be-
nighted sisters in Indore, and not to
relax their efforts, but to work on in
faith. The address listened to
with intense' interest. We trizst that
the result will prove an incelitive to
good and great work in the society.
