The delightful weather on Thursday
broughtiout a large crowd of visitors,
and by two o'clock between' four and
five thOusand people were on ithe
grounds.; This was all the sloilow
wanted to make it a complete success,
and those -vviieacres, who had predicted
failure because_ the admission [fee had
been raised from 15 to 25 cents could
take bust little comfort out of the vast
crowds. The gate receipts were the
largest in the history of the Society.
