session of Parliament Mr. Somerville
took a prominent part in the work

—Mr. D. Murchison has just
opened a shipment of old country goods
•of bis own direct importation. Besides
staple stationery and bibles for presen-
tation, there are some lines of fancy
goods and notions not to be seen else-
where. Shipments of clocks, watches,
silverware and jewelry have also been
received, making the stock most com-
plete and suitable for the holiday

very forcibly.
Rev. J. S. 'Coiling, from Lucknow,
will preach a missionary sermon at
Zion next Sunday. -
The relatives of the late Mrs. Gra-
ham, of the 13th. Con., Ashfield, have
erected a beautiful tombstone to her
memory in Zion cemetery, 12th Con.
The friends and acquaintances of
Miss Nellie Thompson will be sorry to
learn of her death in Toronto,' 26 Wal-
ton St., on Nov. 27th. She was first
cousin to Mrs. Thos. McKeith, 12th
concession.
Mr. Jas. Wilson, 12th con., has
rented his steam saw min to Mr. Bow-
ers, Lucknow, for some time.

CPTTRSUANT TO THE JUDGEMENT
herin bearing date the 8th day of
October, 1891, there will be offered for sale by
public auction at McGarry's hotel in the
Village of Lucknow on
Saturday, the 19th day of Dec. '91
at two o'clock in the afternoon by Peter
Corrigan, auctioneer, the following property
viz :—The north halves of lots number six,
seven and eight in the first concession of the
Township of Huron in the County of Bruce.
The lands contain,' in tbe • whole, one
hundred and fifty acres, of which about one
hundred and twenty acres are cleared and fit
for cultivation, the balance being timbered
principally with hardwood.
The soil is chiefly a clay loam and a good
spring runs through part of the lands.
The buildings on the premises consist of a
stone house, a frame, bank barn, and a small
stable, all in a good state of repair. The
fences are in fair repair.
There is an orchard upon the lands contain-
iug twenty five fruit trees in bearing condition.
The property is situated about five miles
tram Lucknow and about sixteen miles from
Kincardine 'arid is especially adapted for
general farming.
The land will be sold subject to a mortgage
now existing thereon for $3500 and interest.
TERMS OF SALE :
Ten per oent of the purchase money to be
paid to the plaintiff or her solicitors at the
time of sale, the balance to be paid into Court,
without interest, within thirty days thereafter
when the purchaser will be entitled to a con-
veyance and possession, The property will be,
put up subject to a reserved b'id. In cther
respects the conditions ofsale will be the
standing conditions of sale of the High Court
of Justice.
