Burns, of this village, had a narrow escape from fatal accident on Thurssday`'last. He was assisting Mr, Wn: Hood unloading' peas and losing his balance he fell backwards from the stack to the ground, a distance of nine or ten feet. In the fall he struck against a ladder, and although no bonds were broken he was badly bruised, and for several days was unable to leave the house. A Bagi4older - Messrs. W. J. and T. F. Patterson, of Huron township, have invented and patented a grain bag holder that should prove a useful implement on every farm. It is a simple ' and ingenious device and is pronounced `by those qualified to judge of its merits, superior to anything of the kind in the country.
