An Important Decision Mr. Justice Fergusoft has rendered a decision which is of somninterest to county councils. It was upon the question of how the width Of a stream was to be determined, and His Lord- ship ruled that this must be done by measuring the, actual width of the channel that • the stream had cut for itself from bank to bank, and not the width of the water at any particular stage. This decision will relieve many townships of the cost of maintaining bridges which will have to be main- tained by the county councils. •-r.e0 •00.. _ Finished Operations 111.srs.
