The Zion Sabbath School intend to get up a pic-nic, but. have not yet de- cided where it shall` be held. Dr. Strongman, pastor of the Ash- field circuit, has been seriously ill for some time, but we are glad to see he is recovering. Mr. John Dowering, Lucknow, preached in .Zion church last Sabbath very acceptably. Mr..R. Barnby, who has been attending the McGi]1 College; Montreal, was also' present. W.
