Virtual High School is in the process of initiating an 18 -month contract to develop 36 elementary courses from levels Kindergarten to Grade 5 (K-5), inclusive. These individuals will be responsible for working with the Multimedia Specialist and Multimedia Developer to create and coordinate the development of audio, video and graphic assets across 70+ existing VHS courses and 36 new K-5 courses. These individuals will also be responsible for creating and designing graphics, illustrations, and other assets for online courses. These will be full-time positions on a set term contract, with the possibility of permanent positions being offered upon project completion. Salary will be commensurate upon education and experience. The Qualified Candidate will have/be: • Bachelor of Design, related degree/diploma program, or related experience. • A team player with excellent attention to detail. • Exceptional multitasking skills and ability to meet tight deadlines. • Creative and innovative approach to multimedia creation. o Some or all of the following technical skills sets/experience: illustration and animation, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere), audio production (recording, editing, mastering), proficiency with audio and web design concepts, experience with HTML and CSS programming in conjunction with multimedia, experience with digital photography and photo editing. The Ideal Candidate will have: • Work experience in the education sector. • 1-3 years of experience in multimedia design/development. • Experience with Steinberg Cubase digital audio software.
