The Municipality of Central Huron is now accepting applications for the following position:
Planning and Building Assistant
(1 Full Time Position*/ 35 hour per week)
This position provides skilled administrative and clerical services for the Building Department
and the Planning Department. Duties include but not limited to: working closely with the
public with planning/zoning/building inquiries and applications and continue to be the
contact person throughout the course of the application.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in municipal planning related position. OACA Primer on Planning Course,
working knowledge of the Ontario Planning Act are considered an asset. Position requires
experience with Microsoft Office, MDS, GIS. Excellence in customer service is required.
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant post secondary education / project
management experience.
