The Municipality
of Huron East is
now accepting
applications
for the position of
Public Works Foreman
Reporting to the Public Works Manager, the Foreman will oversee
the day to day work activities of the roads employees. The incumbent
will provide a variety of construction, maintenance and repair services
to roads, municipal drains and public works operations including
operating heavy equipment.
Applicants should possess as a minimum, a secondary school
diploma and have a DZ license with a clean abstract. Applicants
should have 5 years experience in construction or municipal road
work with supervisory experience.

CARTER, Jay - Passed away peacefully
at Stratford General Hospital on Friday,
November 4, 2016. Born in Wingham,
Ontario, on January 1, 1954, Donna Jay
Carter (nee Scott) of Egmondville, was in
her 63rd year. Beloved spouse and best
friend of Don Tremeer for 28 years. Loving
mother of Cherie Dolmage (Jeff) of
Seaforth, Tracie Bartliff (Darren) of Clinton,
and step -mother of Jennifer Fortin (Dan) of
Blind River. Cherished 'Grama Jay' of
Meghan and Jack Dolmage, Carleigh and
Rachel Bartliff, and Step-Grama of Luke,
Zach, Tim, Jacob and Jenielle. Dear
daughter of Jim Scott and his wife Elaine of
Goderich. Loved sister of Judy Dixon
(Steve Campbell) of Clinton, Jill Jervis
(Dave) of Seaforth, JoAnn Flynn (Joe) of
Clinton, Jamie Scott (Lorie Nurse) of
Goderich, Julie Gagnier (Chris Babb) of
Bayfield, and sister-in-law of David Tremeer
(Christine) of Kippen and Marilyn Wright
(Don) of Lucan. Jay will also be missed by
her many nieces, nephews, extended family
and friends. Predeceased by her mother
Donna (nee MacDonald) and nephew Craig
Jervis. At Jay's request cremation has
taken place and a private graveside
committal service will be held at
Egmondville Cemetery. Friends and
relatives are invited to gather to celebrate
Jay's life at the Huron Fish & Game Club in
Clinton, on Sunday, November 13, 2016,
from 1:30 - 4 p.m. As expressions of

MELADY, Sandra - Passed away
peacefully surrounded by the love of her
family at Seaforth Community Hospital on
Thursday, November 3, 2016. Born in
Stratford, Ontario, on Friday, October 5,
1973, Sandra Ann (nee Mclnally) Melady of
Exeter, formerly of Seaforth, was in her
44th year. Cherished mother of Liam, Hope,
Connor and Faith Melady. Missed by her
loving partner and best friend Bryan Baker
of Exeter, and his children Jon, Jarrett and
Bryanne Baker. Devoted daughter of Dave
and Adeline (nee Chappel) Mclnally of
Seaforth. Dear sister of Steve and Danielle
Mclnally of RR#4 Clinton, and loving Aunt
of Keegan and Karsyn Mclnally. Sandra will
also be dearly missed by her extended
Mclnally, Chappel, Melady and O'Reilly
family members, as well as her many loving
friends. At Sandra's request cremation has
taken place and memorial visitation will be
held at McGLYNN FAMILY FUNERAL
HOME, Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on
Thursday, November 10th from 7-9 p.m.
and Friday, November 11th from 2-4 and
7-9 p.m. A celebration of life service will be
held at the Seaforth & District Community
Centre on Saturday, November 12th at 11
a.m. Sandra's urn will be interred in
Maitlanbank Cemetery followed by a
reception at the Seaforth Legion, Branch
156. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations
to the `Melady Children Trust' or Jessica's
House in Exeter are appreciated and can
