Huron County, the yearly
event is the local non -profit's
most important fundraiser,
said Weber.
The roughly $10,000
raised through the event
will help the organization
to provide short-term sup-
port to victims of crime,
trauma and tragic circum-
stances, whether that be
buying a hot meal for a
family who lost their home
to a fire or covering mileage
for volunteers, she said.
The organization does
receive funding from the Min-
istry of the Attorney General,
but that only covers salaries
