Justine Alkema Clinton News Record
This week, downtown Clinton featured a tulip blooming celebration. School classes, dignitaries, veterans, residents and a Dutch -singing choir gathered around
the garden to commemorate the tulips' blooming. Clinton received the tulip bulbs after Central Huron Communities in Bloom applied for the gift. Clinton was one
of 140 municipalities to receive bulbs which were given to Canadian communities as a symbol of Dutch -Canadian friendship. For more see page 3.
