During the Welcome assembly on February 29 at Huron Centennial school the Grade 3 and 3-4 classes sang "Canada in my Pocket" which is about Canadian coins and the symbols on them.

Parego acknowledges that
the true success of the Red
Leaf program lies with the
schools and the host families
who take in these students
and make them feel so wel-
come. She relates, "The
Huron Centennial School
Community and it's families
has done an amazing
job of welcoming our Mexi-
can guests, making them feel
at home and showing
them how amazing our Rural
Ontario families really are.
The Mexican students, their
teacher and families back
home are very impressed
