St. Anne's Catholic Secondary School finish second place in Huron Perth Senior Boys Hockey season and go on to become the Champions in the finals on February 24 in Exeter.
St. Anne's take championship in Huron Perth senior boys hockey

At the end of the Huron Perth senior boys
hockey season, South Huron District High
School (SHDHS) and St. Anne's finished
first and second respectively earning them
a "by" for last week's quarterfinals.
On the morning of February 24, second
place St. Anne's played against Strat-
ford's Northwestern on home ice in Clin-
ton. St. Anne's won with a 5 to 2
final. Fourth place Central Huron Secon-
dry School (CHSS) faced SHDHS in Exeter
losing 8 (?) - 0.
At 1 p.m. St. Anne's went up against
SHDHS on their home ice in Exeter and

fought their way to victory with a 5 -1
win. The score does not reflect the close
game as at the start of the third, St. Anne's
was only ahead 2 to 1. Halfway through the
3rd, the Eagles scored again making it 3 -
1 and then scored 2 more in rapid succes-
sion to secure the win. Great game played
by both teams.
Monday, February 29 the St. Anne's sen-
ior boys head to London to compete
at WOSSAA (Westem Ontario Secondary
School Athletic Association).
