Outside sales open at 6:30 p.m., and inside the arena opens at 7 p.m. This year, the park is mainly raising funds for the restoration of the embankment and the stairs of the beach. The Pioneer Park Associa- tion is a non-profit organiza- tion which takes care of park maintenance such as stairs, trees, flower beds, lilac bushes and fencing. This year the park is featuring various activities such as yoga, bands and art. They also do weddings at the park. "This kind of event keeps the park open to the public because we're able to maintain it without having to change anything," said park associa- tion member and rummage sale convener Jennifer Allan. Wednesday, June 29, 2016 • News Record 15 The rummage sale itself is massive. It is run by over 100 volunteers, and four months of planning have gone into it. There is also a silent auction. "Around 90% of the busi- nesses in town donate every year to the silent auction," said Allen. She noted that they are extremely thankful to all the businesses for donating as well as for all the volunteers helping with the event in general. They are still accepting donations for the sale at this point. Donations can be dropped off at the Quonset huts north of Bayfield at 76614 Highway 21 on Saturday, July 2 from 9 a.m. -1 p.m. TO ADVERTISE HERE PLEASE CALL 519-482-3443 519-527-0240 NEUTEL CONSTRUCTION LTD "Complete Concrete Forming &Finishing„ ,. 519-482-3049 TO ADVERTISE PLEASE CALL 519-482-3443 or5tr1,tly.wrr 519-527-0240 CLINTON GLASHERE ,,,,,,S.,,'MIRROR_„Doors • Siding• Eavestrough • Vinyl -clad Railings&oorSDecst ms • Vinylor TO ADVERTISE HERE PLEASE CALL 519-482-3443 or 519-527-0240 Cil='I 7r.0 482-3322 24 Princess St. W.
