They essentially curated their own exhibit as a class, and that exhibit is on display at St. Anne's. The class worked in close partnership with the curator at the Huron County Museum, Will Kernohan. Students got a behind -the - scenes view of the museum and were instructed on how a museum acquires pieces of historical importance. Armed with that knowledge, students were asked to choose an object of their own to curate. The student curators selected all kinds of different objects for all kinds of differ- ent reasons. Each artifact tells a story about a time in the person's life. The stories paint pictures of days gone by which range from child- hood memories to family histories. The display case at the school features objects such as a doll, toy, sledgehammer, crucifix or wooden shoes. The object of this project was to spark interest in local and family history and to encourage a sense of curiosity in history and interpreting the past. They also create conver- sations about objects and memories that hold a special place in the students' hearts. clintonnewsrecord.com Scott Knoblauch June 12 Finley Biglow June 12 Trent Falconer June 15 Troy Langendoen June 16 Faye Latour June 17 Kaelin Wood June 18 Drew Feddes June 20 Kohen Mason June 25 Jax Hunking June 26 Morgan Colclough June 27 Alexis Bernier June 27 Owen Wammes June 27 If you wish to have your childs name & birthdate in the Birthday Club for ages 1-12, please call the office, it's free. 519-482-3443 Hey Kids!
