It was another great afternoon of live
harness racing as Clinton Raceway
continues to kick off it's 2016 season.
The weather has been just perfect
making for the perfect Sunday
afternoon destination this summer.
The Saugeen Maitland Women's
Hockey Association was on had with a
Day at the Races fundraiser, including
BBQ, bake sale and 50/50 raising just
shy of $1000 for their 2016/17 season.
While this season's fundraising
schedule is now full, interested
groups are encouraged to visit
www.clintonraceway.com to see how
they can host a fundraiser for the 2017
live season.
Legendary announcer Frank Salive
called his last afternoon at Clinton,
before heading on to Fort Erie for the
rest of the season.
Live racing takes a rest this weekend
while the town welcomes the Clinton
Spring Fair back for another year.
Enjoy all the activities the fair has to
offer from June 3-5. Clinton Raceway
will be back in action on Sunday
June 12 with a fundraiser for the
local food bank, as well as tasting
party with Cowbell Brewery of Blyth.
Guests 19 and over will be treated
to their delicious Country Kolsch -
Absent Landlord as well as free coolie
cups, and the chance at great prize
packages!
