16:38. With this scoring bar-
rage, the Royals never recov-
ered as the Radars cruised to
the victory.
The Radars next home
game is this Friday night at
8:30 p.m. as they host the
Petrolia Squires. They finish
off their final season game
on Saturday night in Sea -
forth. Playoffs will begin on
February 5 as they will host
the 4th place team in the
first round of the playoffs.

Radars crush Royals 12-5

ary 23 the Clinton
Radars once again showed
an explosive offensive attack
against the Tavistock Royals
as they scorched the Royals
12-5. For the sixth time this
season the Radars have hit
double digits on the winning
side of the scoresheet. To
make matters even better,
they scored 3 shorthanded
goals in a span of 3 minutes
in the middle stanza. With
the lopsided victory the
Radars season record now

stands at 20 wins, 1 loss and
1 overtime loss.
League -leading scorer
Kurtis Bartliff led the offen-
sive onslaught with 1 goal
and 4 assists. He now stands
at the top of the scoring
leader board with 65 points
on 30 goals and 35 assists.
Closely behind Bartliff in the
scoring race are Luke Vick
and Tyler Doig. With Luke
Vick's 4 points in this game,
he was 60 points on 17 goals
and 43 assists. With Doig's 2
goals and 2 assists, he now
has 53 oints on 19 goals and
34 assists.
Ryan Murphy, another of
the Radars' sharp shooters,
collected a hat trick in this
contest. Ryan has 31 goals
and 18 assists, for fourth
place in the scoring derby.
Sean Consitt contributed
2 goals in this contest and
now has 14 goals for the sea-
son. Picking up single tallies
in this lopsided win were
Tyler Bryson, Mike Jarmuth,
Reid Oliver and Deryk
Whitehead.
The Radars led 4-1 after
the opening period, 10-4
after 2, and finishing up with
2 goals in the final session to
make the score 12-5.
As for penalties in the
game, the Radars had 20
minutes and Tavistock was
whistled for 14 minutes.
Shots on goal had the
Radars outshooting Tavis-
tock by a 34 to 30 margin.
The highlight of the offen-
sive attack came in the sec-
ond period when Clinton
played shorthanded for 4
minutes from the 13 minute
mark to the 17 minute mark.
Not only are you supposed
to kill off penalties when
your team is shorthanded,
but to score seems a big
chore for any hockey team.
