A separate Huron Park Working Group was also formed. As recommended, the committee and working group included members from vari- ous agencies and services who are already directly involved in the community, or would like to become more involved, as well as members of the com- munity itself. A liason between the two groups was appointed. Following the Huron Park Program discussion, updates were given by the existing work- ing groups which included the Indicators Group, Education Group and the Information Coordination Group. The Indicators Group gave updates on the Poverty Report Card and the Community Trends Platform. Those participating in the meeting were then given the opportunity to take part in roundtable updates with many giving brief comments of how their agencies are developing new programs as well as pro- gress on projects and fundraising. The Poverty to Prosperity in Huron groups and committees will continue to work separately and collaboratively, as needed, to continue to work towards the goals of the project, with the main goal being to end poverty in Huron County. The next meeting of P2P will be April 12.
